There is a very interesting BLOG article with discussion on *How many birds are being killed each year by cats* This encompasses all cats, feral or owned. I think it is a very interesting read.

The name of the site is Laura's Birding Blog (For the love, understanding, and protection of birds) You Can click here and read the blog. One of the things mentioned in the blog article is that so many who own cats allow them to wander around outside, defecating in other people flower beds and killing the birds at their bird feeders.

I am one who keeps my cats inside. Things are different now...these days. It is dangerous for them to be outside and there is danger in them coming in contact with the feral cats too, many who have transmittable diseases!

Just this evening I was watching the news and there was a family who had to rip out the sheet rock allover their home, to catch a neighbors cat that somehow crawled into their house walls and kept meowing for days! The finally was able to get it out in their master bedroom after ripping holes in their ceilings !

Anyway......... I posted it as I thought it as an very interesting article :)
