The beef recall for humans doesn't give me a warm feeling about beef for my pupsters. Has anyone confirmed with Nature's Variety that their beef doesn't originate from the tainted locations?

Hi Beryl,
Wow.............that is a good thought! I think I will write or call them.............and see what they say..... Lil has gotten weary of them, so she has been on people foods and no beef for a while...... I have been concerned that she has a beef allergy, so I have been keeping her away fro beef for a month or so anyway.
I am getting ready to go purchase some NV medallions...... lamb, chicken etc. She also had some NV dry chicken left, which is almost gone and then I am going to switch to the Orijen dry to feed her along with the medallions and her peoplel food.
I will put in a call to NV today to see what I can find out and post it here........
Nice to see you posting here :) You are officially the very first poster in the foods area <G>
PS: Tractorman is my husbands account <G> I use it to check to make sure I don't miss new posts and sometimes I forget I am in his instead of mine G>

2008-02-19 Spoke with Jessica in the main office a few minutes ago. She assures me that they do not get their beef from any of those meat suppliers. I suggested they may want to post something to their website about it and she is going to turn that over to the marketing dept. as they have nothing there addressing yet. . she may also send e something to my email and I will post it here if I receive anything.
2008-02-19 (12:13pm) Received an email from Mr. Goodman CEO. Here is the link to the post with the letter

Good job, Pamela! It really is good to see something in writing stating that the meat they use is not from the plants associated with the recall. Thanks!
