Sorry I haven't been around on this board much but I am leaving that up to Pam. Being I am the one that likes to work on things before hand and she loves having the crunch time factor.
Although I will pop in from time to time so it's not all Pam here.
Being these posts will be transfered to the new version, it makes it much easier for me to do it one at a time so it's all here for all our members to learn.
Anyway one of our new features for our members is called a User Control Panel.
This will be some where on the top of the board when logged in. Depending on what theme you may use afterwards will determin whether it's on the left side or the right.
In there you are able to send private emails. You can manage your subscriptions to either the forum totally or to the topics within the forums. So you do not have to watch all boards just those that interest you. You could at anytime click unsub to those too. But there will give you all the subscription info.
When we have groups such as our sizzling hot group and other additional groups to see them and to subscribe to those that's open you just have to check in your user control panel.
Also in this new version we now have a draft file. So when you are posting and are not done with your post you may save it. You just have to go into your user control panel under manage draft, to edit or load it in which it will put it back to the posting page to submit.
On the front page in your user control panel will be all the global announcements so you will never miss an important announcement. Regular announcements will be only in the one forum at the top like it's in here too.
Yes I will be adding various steps to each thing when I learn more about them so one could just double check in this board and yes it will be transferred too. So we will not loose anything. Maybe my insanity but that's all!
Hope you are all having as much excitement as Pam and I are having. I actually gotten her into the beta testing last night and we were basically punch drink!!! Yes we laughed so hard that we were having tears roll down our eyes. And believe it or not I actually was up til 1am.
