FLYERS: Aside from the large full page flyer, think about designing a flyer that is 1/2 page, so it can be easily stuck on a dashboard, or other small area, or slipped in a small purse.. You will get twice the amount for your money as far as the printing goes too.

Below is a list places that are so important for getting the widest coverage in the quickest amount of time when one of your fur babies is lost!

Aside from the obvious, such as POLICE and ANIMAL CONTROL, I wanted to mention a VERY IMPORTANT ASSET......with a huge coverage.....

POST OFFICE BUILDINGS. The carriers check in each morning to sort the mail for the day, and if a flyer is on the board, they will see it. They travel all over *every* neighborhood! They can't *pass the flyers out*...................but they can sure take one along with them on their route!

TAXI DRIVERS Pass flyers out to them, as they travel are all over the city all day and night, UPS and FED-X DRIVERS, and all those delivery services that go to the doors of peoples homes every day.

POWER COMPANY DRIVERS, (they read the meters every month at every house) CABLE COMPANY DRIVERS .....who go into peoples homes for repairs all day.

PARKS and RECREATIONS WORKERS who work in the parks emptying trash every day. SANITATION DRIVERS who pick up trash every week in every area.

COMPILE A LIST OF VETERINARIANS and their FAX NUMBERS and EMAIL ADDRESSES and send them a copy via fax or email

CHILDREN.........!! PRE-TEEN and TEENAGERS. Kids are a wonderful resource! Some of hubby's family was staying with me back in 2001 and my 4 year old nephew got up before his Mom and grandmother did and let one my indoor cats out! I offered the kids in the neighborhood (pre-teens) $10.00 if they could find him. They brought me cats from everywhere, LOL and even came and got me and took me to some houses where they thought my cat was!!!

SCHOOLS Ask to be able to put flyers up in the schools, especially the high schools!

AIRLINES Cargo Departments.....if your pet is a show pet or otherwise an asset, and you suspect they may try to ship it out of the area!

GROOMERS ...if you think your pet may need to be groomed as they may try to change the appearance!

    LIBRARIES, BUSES, PETSHOPS, DOG WALKERS

TUCK FLYERS UNDERNEATH CAR WIPERS...most may be thrown away, but it only takes one person who has noticed your pet to contact you.

So much can be done ELECTRONICALLY today............and it is fast so try to use it as much as you can!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check for stolen and missing dogs in a public house….. 'for sale' ......
