ALERT:Chemicals said to be responsible for death......
Summer and Flea season is upon us again.........so in remembrance of little JAZZ who died in 2007, and her brave Mom and Dad, I want to repost this to the lists once again in hopes of saving some little one from dying.

I do not use any of these chemicals myself anymore~ I can’t even begin to imagine what they have already done to my cats over the years. I am thankful that I never gave the cats the dosages that say to give and instead only used it to *get a hold on the problem* and after that, I used some flea powder every so often and only if the flea comb showed up a flea. It takes longer, but still works. The cats never go outside and only get fleas on occasion if they are tracked in on our pant legs. That is not very often. Once or twice a year, maybe!
Lil-Lea, never goes on the grass, so she only gets any fleas from the cats if they get them. If that happens, I never put any chemicals on her. I bath her instead..... and let the shampoo sit just long enough to get her completely soaped up good. That makes the fleas *drugged* or *gasping for air* and easy to wash off with the water .......... I rise her really good and long to get any fleas off her. She is white, so it is easy to see them and I keep her short in the summer too, which makes it a bit easier too.
