A member on one of the lists I am on, posted this. I asked permission to share this information and she said sure thing! I thought is was a great idea for toy and miniature breeds~ I had some of these too and I never even thought of using them as doggie potty boxes. The member said, the following:

Sure thing. I never really thought that it was all that original an idea. LOL But hey! If it's helpful, then pass it around.

I disagree and I think it is very original! :WOW: Here is her post on the subject ~ such a neat idea

Seriously, the under-the-bed storage bins are BY FAR the best small dog potty system I've ever found... and I needed to come up with something better than all the other options I'd come across. Potty pads on the floor just make messes - and you can't blame your dog for missing the pad when they DID have there feet on it.

For the real tiny puppers, you will need to cut the sides of the bin down a bit - so they're only a couple inches high (not the four to six inches most bins are). However, if you do cut them down go to a home improvement store and get some flexible tubing. Make a slit in the tube, and place it all the way around the rim of the bin. This will keep your kidlets from hurting themselves on the sharp, cut plastic.
