BEGGIN STRIPS by PURINA (Photo at bottom of page)
Beggin Strips by Purina is one of the things that I started out feeding Bitsy *UNTIL* ......I read
the ingredients !!! I was dumbfounded by the how much dye is in there, not to mention the
BHA preservatives.
MY PERSONAL OPINION: The bad stuff needs to comeout of there befoer I would feed it to any animals, mine or anyone else's.
FOR INSTANCE: Why do animals need their snacks colored? They don't! People do ! Is the health of out pet worth it, so we can be attracted by a pretty color? I doubt that anyone who cares about their pets, would say yes to this. And, the smaller the pet, the easier it would be for their little bodes to build up these bad ingredients in the system. Certainly if they area cancer causing in humans, they are in pets. But, they are regulated in human foods and not in Pets food, which makes it worse because these dyes and BHA's etc, are in a ton of foods and snacks. Just read the labels! if we stop buying them and complain to the Pet Food manufactures, then maybe they will change them, as I say that tongue in cheek !
