A Rainier landlord is facing a lawsuit from the federal government, alleging he violated the law by not allowing a woman to have a service dog, because he has a no-dog policy. Marilyn Dirks lives in an apartment in Saint Helens. Her doctors say she needs a companion dog to help her with a mental disability.
