Evanagers Manager posts on Itchmo - Very informative !
Hi everyone,
I was prowling around (as usual) looking for Pet Food Information, and found that recently, BRENTON WEAVER (Evangers Pet Foods manager in the Rockey Mountain area) has been communicating on Itchmo about the last FDA issue and thought you, who feed this, might be interested in some of his posts and his interaction with the members of Itchmo! They gave him a really difficult time, but he was withstanding, until he mentioned he was getting married and since then , no word. I guess he must be on his honeymoon now.
The entire thread was posted from April 24th, 2008 thru May 17, 2008 , on Itchmo.
I picked up on a few posts that addressed some of the Evangers manufacturing sources and procedures, which he mentioned and I found them interesting, especially the vitamin/pre-mix source!
He made quite e few posts and I found a few of the interactions especially interesting. The whole entire thread is 21 pages or more, if one cares to read it all and he comments off and on and interacts with the people there. If you do want to start at the beginning then here is the link. NOTE: Entire thread is 21 pages. But it starts to get more interesting around page 15.
PAGE# 01 BEGINNING OF THREAD
However, if not then you might want to start here on page 15 with this post by Don Earl, who responded to Mr Brenton's posting. Don owns the site
PET FOOD RECALL FACTS, and he is testing various pet foods.
Of particular note, to me, is this post by Brenton, with regards to the FDA situation and their recent
*Evangers Announcement.*
Also this post where Brenton reveals their
vitamin/premix source, and how they cook their foods in the *retorts*
This one, which gives information on their
*testing methods*is interesting also.
Mr Brenton seemed have disappeared now. As I mentioned above, perhaps he is on is honeymoon for now and will respond more when he comes back.
I will follow this thread and let you all know if anything else comes up that is informative about the company.
