Just a little information on a new flea product that veterinarians are beginning to prescribe to take the place of the ones commonly used like Frontline. Have been hearing from some people that have used it and both they, and their dogs, have had adverse reactions to it. There are others who have used it and have not had a problem other than the strong smell.
Iam posting this so that anyone whose vet prescribes it for their pet will be able to discuss it with the vet and will be able to make an informed decision as to whether they want to use it on their pet or not.

Promeris was approved for use in August of 2007 and was supposed to be released to veterinarians in the fall of 2007.
